'40's Rural America in Color

AMERICA IN COLOR FROM 1939 TO1943  I love these pictures!  It's fun to look at these people, where they worked, did their shopping, what they wore, how they relaxed...I love the picture of all the little girls in their feedsack dresses at the VT fair : )

Thank you for sharing the link. It's amazing how much more "real" these photos seem than black and white ones. I mean, the images don't seem so far away in time.
